The Hotel Amir was built from 2004 to 2006 as a Swiss-Kyrgyz joint venture.
The management is based on two organizational levels.
The operating structure is managed by local people and staff. Shakhiza and Ilzat Karabashev are the hotel managers.
The stragetic management is dealt with by Gulsara and Tony Steinmann-Karabashev of Switzerland.
